Who are we? Our student ministry is just one piece of the puzzle that makes Fellowship such a unique and great church. With the help of staff, volunteers, parents and student leaders, our student ministry focuses on Middle School and High School students (6th-12th grade) in the greater Highland Lakes area and their families.

What do we do? Throughout the year we plan Wednesday night gatherings, Sunday morning Bible discussions, fun trips, parties, service projects, retreats, spiritual growth tools, camps, concerts, and so much more!

Why do we do it? We believe that the source and goal of a full and abundant life is love…God’s love. 1 John 4:16 reads, “And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.” God’s love and affection for mankind is an others-centered, self-giving, sacrificial, transformative, powerful, mysterious, and eternal phenomenon. Our desire is to create space for students to experience and express this phenomenal love in the midst of wrestling with the challenges, questions, victories and defeats of living in an imperfect and broken world.

How do we do it? Our student ministry is broken down into 4 teams of volunteers and 3 areas of ministry.

Hands On Team

SEEING – getting to know God and His love. (Faith)

FREEING – Learning to trust God and His love. (Hope)

BEING – Living to Share God and His love. (Love)

To be a safe place, with safe people who are maturing toward spiritual health and wholeness.

To encourage one another toward SEEING, FREEING and BEING the phenomenon of God’s love.

“God, please open my eyes and help me to SEE the reality of your love for me, open my heart and help me to FREE the power of your love inside of me, and open my hands and help me to BE the proof of your love to those in front of me.”

Where do I start? Students can get connected to our student ministry at any time, in any way, via any event, trip or gathering. However, what we consider our “front door” into our student ministry is our midweek gathering called “Wednesday Night Live.” This is a high energy, fun time for students that is full of games, mixers, snacks, videos, music and a short message about introductory issues of faith and getting to know God.

Feel free to visit us, call us or contact us via text or email for more information about how to get connected to our student ministry.
