Greetings, I’m Joni! Unlike many pastors, I didn’t start my career in vocational ministry. After graduating from Mary Hardin-Baylor, I devoted 20 years as an elementary school teacher. During my years in the classroom, my passion for building relationships with students and families helped prepare me for my role here at Fellowship. I love walking with students as they grow closer to each other and closer to the Lord.

When I am not at church, you can find me hanging out with my family. My husband, Robert, and I have two (mostly grown) children. We have learned to soak in every minute of our time with them, because the time seems to go by so quickly. We enjoy swimming in waterholes,  jeeping on the backroads, and hanging out in the backyard.
