Greetings, I’m Joni! I wear a couple of hats here at Fellowship. I am the Family Pastor and the Youth Pastor. Unlike many pastors, I didn’t start my career in vocational ministry. After graduating from Mary Hardin-Baylor, I devoted 20 years as an elementary school teacher. During my years in the classroom, my passion for building relationships with students and families helped prepare me for my role here at Fellowship. I enjoy love working with students and families as they grow closer to each other and closer to the Lord.

When I am not at church, you can find me hanging out with my own family. My husband, Robert, and I have two teenagers. We have learned to soak in every minute of our time with them, because the time seems to go by so quickly. We enjoy swimming in waterholes, jeeping on the backroads, and hanging out in the backyard.
